Reporting to parents

It is important for teachers to collect and interpret information regarding student achievement and progress to set the direction for future teaching and learning after careful analysis. Effective assessment practices allow teachers to communicate and report accurately to parents.

Formal school reports are provided to parents twice a year which provide a snapshot of student achievement. Formal school reports are sent home with students in June (Semester 1) and December (Semester 2) and cover all Key Learning Areas (KLAs) including a general comment about students’ work habits and commitment to learning.

Achievement is indicated using the A-E scale.
